I have said this for years. I don’t think referees are bold enough to change the outcome of games. But I sure as **** know they are doing things to effect the spread. For example, how does a referee straring at two guys holding Bain in the end zone not make that call? He likely knows Miami has won that game. But he sure as heck knows he can affect the spread by not calling the safety.

It's egregious stuff.

No matter what the league or refs say in defense of themselves, they deserve every ounce of skepticism directed their way.

Far too many incidents / circumstances over the years to list.

Let's see how they respond.

They basically cheated & stole the game from Auburn in order to protect UGA's record & bolster the SEC's probability of getting 4 teams in the playoffs.

But that's life in the SEC, there's only 2 teams they allow to really succeed in that conference, everybody else are just sacrificial lambs to make the top 2 look good.

Just make sure yall keep that in mind next time you read a campaign for Miami to move to the SEC...

When is Mario and the AD going to get sick of it and stand up in a presser and ***** about these teams holding, ridiculous inadvertent whistles, teams simulating the snap, safeties that aren’t, and ticky tack PFs while egregious **** in the same game goes uncalled. Nothing is going to happen until someone calls them on their bull****, there is 20+ years of evidence. We should have a team right now breaking down every single game played in the ACC since we have joined, breaking down all the analytics and proving without a doubt these zebras are ******* us. If the data says it and the video evidence is clear you send it to every single media person that might listen and scream it from the roof tops and dare the ACC to keep ******* us.

I have a feeling, Auburn being a powerful SEC program, that someone at that school (AD, Major Boosters, etc) really made a stink about this behind the scenes and threats were made IMO.

You typically don’t see action like this taken vs Officials.

Ummmm how about the Feds or Trump since there is a Trump that is at Miami.
 
The more I think about this, the more I think the darkening clouds are appearing on the horizon.

This has caused a crisis in faith over the integrity and fairness of college football, all leagues for that matter. If NIL doesn't cause massive restructuring to the college game, fan's loss of faith will.

This isn't death by a thlusand cuts, this is a meat cleaver.
