UF offensive recruits (Cook, Lane, etc)

Are going to be playing in a new system pretty soon. Offensive changes are coming, and probably a new HC and a rebuilding project next year. Not sure why anyone would sign with UF right now:



Following Saturday’s 23-20 loss to Georgia, Florida is now 4-4 on the year and this week’s Vanderbilt game looms large. Multiple sources indicate they believe Will Muschamp is safe for 2014, at least for now. But a loss to the Commodores on Saturday would add pressure, big time. If Muschamp returns (and we expect him to), expect major staff changes on the offensive side of the ball.

I think If they wasnt serious about going to UF they wouldnt be commited.Im not going to say we cant flip them...but the chances are slim.
 
those recruits are prob the only reason why he gets another year. if recruits start de commiting he will lose his job real quick
 
How any offensive recruit looks at that offense and says "where do I sign?!" Boggles my mind
 
Haven't looked at his rivals page in a while, but how long has Cook been listed as a "soft verbal"?

Because recruits are promised time to play early and they feel like they can help the offense.

Couple weeks unfortunately most of the smoke is with regards to F$U, he also took an OV to Arkansas (lol)
 
Muscrap is a dead man walking. Total lame duck. He's not cut out to be a HC because he's way too emotionally unstable. That sht wears really thin after awhile with everyone. He'll scapegoat his OC this year and then be gone next year.

You'd have to be an idiot to sign up there unless it's been your dream forever to play at uf.ag and want to be there no matter who the HC is.
 
I think that if they fire their OC, those recruits stay...I dnt think they stick if he is still there...I been hearing chatter around the Hood that that's the most likely scenario...Im new just posting to the site, I grew up in south Florida area went to school with a few former canes, (Chris Myers, Antrelle Rolle, Frank Gore, Roscoe Parrish)

Cook said himself that if Pease leaves he's gone. Now I think that if he leaves it actually will hurt because as bad as he is he builds relationships and none of the offensive players seem to be wavering much right now

If he gets fired then they might leave, hes the reason they r going there. They always recruit well but we gotta stay on em

U obviously never followed or just started following recruiting. Its about relationships not play calling.
 
I been following recruiting for about 8 years now...I understand that it is about relationships...I'm just going by what I've heard around the neighborhood seein some of these guys at Pop Warner football games...the stuff they say to the media, and stuff they tell their friends, can be totally different
