Their coach seems pretty straight forward and no fluff! Doesnt seem to think King is much of a passer. He used the term running back QB multiple times and that his legs present a bigger problem. I think they will stack the box and make him throw.

That’s pretty much what you would have to do in his position: force King to beat you with his arm. It’s basically a “pick your poison” situation for UAB.

Stack box, but leave 1v1 opportunities, which would help our guys out in space so...Pope gon eat!
 
Of course they’ll stack the box and play man on the back end. Their CBs were mauling the **** out of everyone even vs FCS competition

And if they stack the box and King and the RBs still find open running lanes...well, that’s when it gets ugly. Not saying it will happen, yet. Gotta see this new and improved OL first.

As a defensive coach you want to take something away and make it more difficult to beat you, that is best way.. He probably looked at wr and said lets make them prove themselves.. I think our guys are talented enough to burn that gameplan against a squad like UAB tho.. I expect it all season unless them boys step up

22 personnel all day, we have 2 first round tight ends in Jordan and Mallory. Let em eat

Wiggins gonna eat , deep ball coming if they stack the box. Mallory on a lb works be stealing over the top , then Brevin and Pope underneath. I hope we see some 12 personnel with Mallory more in the slot.
