UAB players test positive, rest of team coming down

This will be the on going concern All season. We will literally have a discussion before every game as to which UM players and opposing players Are out due to Covid.
What I am worried about is when team A passes on the virus in big numbers to team B. It will happen and I 0nly hope the response is not complete “shut it down” panic.

Honestly, and maybe I’m wrong here, but I don't see players passing it to each other during a game as a big issue. I mean we will know for sure in the next few weeks.

If I had an honest concern, it would be lineman, lined up across each other, and spending a lot of close time breathing on each other. But everybody else, I’m not that worried.

We are just going to have to let it play out

They can wear masks... that helps I heard.
 
I mean aren't we only testing guys with symptoms? Theroetically we could have someone positive too.

Didn't this happen to the Marlins this year where they cross contaminated players from the other team and in the clubhouse?

They will be tested again tomorrow along with Miami and then again after the game. Lets just hope all is clear and take it 1 day at a time. This is what we are dealing with and if we can stay "calm" (what a novel idea) we will get through it and just adjust. MLB has done an exceptional job considering the clusters they had with a handful of teams and kept their heads and adjusted.
 
Real pOsitives or fake positives? That’s an issue in all this also. Kid with no symptoms pops positive and he is out without a chance to test again to spit out a negative in time. Each game we get to play will be a blessing.
 
Second week in a row that UAB players tested positive for Covid-19. UAB had a couple players sit out of their last game.
