Two FIU football players shot in Opa-Locka both will be fine

This just hit my email from the Herald and ABC channel 10 Miami:
Two Florida International University football players visiting friends in Opa-locka Thursday afternoon were shot and injured in what police said was a drive-by shooting.

The players, star junior running back Anthony Jones and freshman offensive lineman Mershawn Miller, were both transported to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Jones was airlifted. Miller was taken by ambulance. The injuries don’t appear to be life-threatening, said Opa-locka Police Chief James Dobson.

Jones was shot in the face and the back. Miller was shot in the arm. The shooting happened just after 3 p.m. on 9-6-18, just outside a home at 2400 NW 141st St

Is it time to go negative recuit FIU like Butch turncoat Davis did to UM after Pata was killed ?



"Multiple sources are telling me he (Butch Davis) came to South Florida for the Sean Taylor funeral and went to visit a bunch of Miami commits and tell them that Randy is getting fired next year and they should not go to Miami, that they should come to Carolina.I cant relay yet what I am hearing o*n the Patrick Johnson front because it is way too messy and very easily could be a rumor along the lines of what many have been hearing recently regarding Patrick and other schools trying to get him. But if Patrick Johnson suddenly visits and/or commits to North Carolina, you guys will be able to put two and two together pretty quickly."

Manny Navarro posted in the Herald, "Forston told me other schools have calling him of late trying to trick him and other recruits by telling them coach Randy Shannon has o*nly o*ne year left o*n his contract. Forston and Harris both told me they've been receiving calls from UM coaches to stop the false information from spreading. I got a phone call from a UM assistant who pleaded with me and said "please put it out there that coach Shannon's contract runs through 2012. People are spreading garbage that he's o*nly got o*ne year left. That's bull."

Another well-connected Canes fan added this: "Butch Davis also told him, why would you want to live down here when all these people are getting shot. Marcus said, " You had no problem living down here with your wife for six years."

No one gets put into the trauma bird if they’re not in danger of losing their life. Don’t know why they would put that in the article. It costs too much money to use it for non - life threatening gunshot wounds.

Thats all 100% Bullsh!t......LoL at sources.....My sources are me....especially since I see Butch 3-4 times a yr.....But by all means...keep believing everything you hear....

Thing about Butch - he's always recruiting.

Always.

He didn't owe UM anything - they screwed him over good on his contract - and UM hasn't been the same since.

Oh - and he didn't need an IPF to pull in the greatest college football team of all time.

Bring back butch!!!! We will lose to inferior teams and have this shizzzz happen!! But at least we will be a talented under achieving program with knuckle heads

The 2001 team was the greatest team and he was 1500 miles away. Out of all the evaluations Butch get's credit for the fool left the greatest team ever assembled for a short term payday. The thing about Butch is most of his assistant coaches had better careers than him. Wonder why that is.

Everytime I mention the BS stories to him....he scoffs at them...See, Im one of the ones who knows the real truths about Butch...and I also know the BS....
Until you know Butch...
Until you actually talk FB with him
Until you know the kind of person he really is...(Ask BrooklynDee if I'm not keeping it 100% straight)
Until you know the Grade A Husband and Father he is..
