TVD wins a "2022 Pre Season Herbie" award

Agreed, I think TVD is indeed ready to take it to the next level. Does that mean 300yds and 3TD’s a game this year? That I dont know but I think from a leadership stand point he’s fully ready to lead this offense to some serious points for 2022, and a lot of dubs.

Hopefully he can play a complete game where he doesn’t start off slow each game only for the lights to come on later. Other than Pitt where he started fast and then faded a bit, he struggled in the first half in most of his games it felt like to me.

The run game will help that, if we improve as much as I think we will. Also the D being able to compliment and even bail out the offense at times

That's on preparation and coaching, IMHO.

Six (6) 300yd games with every opponent knowing our run-game was suspect and constantly being behind the chains.

looking forward to the play-action on 2nd & 6 or 3rd & 2.

A lot of it was coaching. Give him some easy throws to get going. Be able to RUN THE BALL! I meant to say run more than one running play lol

**** I had forgotten about that. Hopefully that was as much on Lashlee as it was him and this staff puts him more winnable situations and makes better adjustments early.

Cant wait for the 2023 draft to hear this dude's name called. If he even has a decent season I would expect this to take place.

During that six game stretch, I feel like he started fast against NC State, G Tech, V Tech and Duke in addition to Pitt. Definitely started slow against Noles but whole **** team did.

Virginia, FSU, NC are games that come to mind where it seemed he needed a whole half to settle in.
