Turning point in recent Miami history?

Maybe this is simplistic. But I wonder how different things would be had we kept Bridgewater as a recruit in 2011 and we had him through the 2013 season. QBs determine so much. Winston was worth 2-3 wins for FSU last year. Bridgewater, a first-round level talent, would have been worth the same each year. He would have drawn better receivers to the Canes. There would have been less of a stink around the program, which would have enabled us to recruit better at all positions. We wouldn't have lost all our mojo.
I was never sure: Did he decommit because Shannon left or did Golden, Fisch et.al. decide he wasn't their style?
It's possible, too, that he wouldn't have developed here but it would have been hard to destroy that kind of talent.

Shannon and Golden both would of found a way to lose with Teddy B. The turning point was the hiring of Donna Shalala

Coaches make and break programs. This staff handicaps Kaaya and the rest of this team. Why would that be any different with Bridgewater?

Folden has a QB just as good as Turdy, and he's done nothing but lose. So go slam your "what if" face into a cobblestone street. You should be ashamed of your sorry self for attempting to scour the earth for yet another fake reason why Folden failed. Keep digging.

The turning point was not firing Coker after the 05 peach bowl and re-hiring Butch then.
