Dr. Bennet Omalu, who was consulted for the movie Concussion, has come out and said Tua should retire. For what that's worth.

To clarify anything I've said before on this thread, I don't think he's fragile due to concussions. Concussions happen to everyone, given the right circumstances. It's the hip injury primarily, and then the nagging injuries he's picked up in the league.

It’s a basic law of physics. Most DL and LB’s could bench press him with one arm. His stature in and of itself puts him at greater risk. It’s no secret the vast majority of us wanted Herbert but that’s water under the bridge and the focus should be solely on Tua’s future health.
