Truth : can U handle the truth

1) Miami will have a new starting QB in 2018
2) Our performance against Clemson is an example of why Georgia fans were ready for a change from CMR.
3) O-Line needs to pick up dramatically or Searles may be gone after 2018.
4) McIntosh and Norton would be as dumb as rocks if they left early.
5) Richt needs to spend a week each with Lincoln Riley, Scott Frost and Mike Norvell ... time to climb into the modern era of offense.

More than half of our roster is still filled with golden recruits. More than half of Georgia's roster is filled with Richts recruits. Richt has done more with less. I'm not a huge fan of his play calling but at the same times if Rosier hits half of his targets yesterday and the Friday against Pitt we win one and at least seem competitive against Clemson.

Thank you. Richt’s recruits making it easier for Kirby. Golden’s recruits and lack of depth making it tough on Richt. Richt has definitely done more with less. We can already see significant progress on the field and in recruiting. Give him another year or two, and we should be in very good shape.

Kirby is legit though. I don't think Richt takes that UGA team to playoffs.

I like the new Miami Richt though. He's loosened up and is back to calling plays/scheming.

If in year 5, we're still miles behind a team like Clemson then I agree with #2 , right now give me a break.

#2 makes absolutely no sense but I can see where all the other points come from

Every kid on Georgia's starting defense was recruited by Richt. Every single one of them. Most of the offense as well. What makes Georgia go is a crushing defense and two studs at running back. They win with Fromm because he throws less than 20 passes a game. The one game where they needed him to step up his game against Auburn on the road he wasn't very good. He does things off play action. They don't ask him to do too much and he doesn't have to do so. Probably the reason why they lose to Oklahoma. BTW, the kid was a stud coming out of high school. Ready-made size.

Show me a OC who had more success than Richt with a QB who could not complete 50% of his passes and whom could not complete more than 15 passes a game. I love these BS iditoic posts that try and sum up a world of variables with one sweeping statement. Like a college offense is as simple as a 3rd grade math problem. The only variable that affects its outcome is the one that poster decides to focus on that day.

5) IT'S THE MUTHERFCKING OL AND QB WHY IS THAT SO FCKING HARD TO UNDERSTAND? YOU CAN CALL ALL THE FANCY SHT YOU WANT BUT IF YOU CAN'T RUN BLOCK OR HIT OPEN RECEIVERS IT DOESN'T MATTER.

Yup. You said it. It not hard to understand but it may be hard to fix.

Fortunately he put it so we can all understand it, even all the high school Harry's on here

You all know me, know how I make a livin' on the boards when it comes to Richt and his offense.

But its a fact we have a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE OL, and NO QB whatsoever. Give me 2-10 UNCs third string, freshman QB any day over Rosier. Give me that Syracuse kid, and we finish 11-0, and had a chance against Clemson, even with no OL.

Its the OL and QB. Period.

Now, if the OL is still awful, and we have no QB in Richts third year, well, I will be right when I say its 100% on him.

We were hopeless on first and goal at the one all year against mostly bad teams. We may have set the record for most first and goals inside the 5 without TDs.

Ill bet our percentage of scoring after our D got a TO was also record level. We get a TO, and 3 and out more often than not.

Richt gets a pass, until next season.

BTW, it sure seemed that all of our running success was due to receiver blocking, am I right?

No. Our performance against Clemson is an example of 4 years of Dabo recruiting vs. 2 years of Golden and 2 years of Richt. The fact that we won the Coastal is an example of why Richt lasted more than 4 years at UGA.

Dabo has had more then 4 years of time to recruit, ,meaning he has had more time to get the fly wheel a spinning.

Also Richt came down in our back yard and plucked Sony right up. Give it time boys, this aint Golden & Dorito show anymore. #3 class is evidence of that

Some fans have to realize Miami just finished the season with 10 WINS, after reading some of these threads you'd think Miami just WON 6 games and barely got a bowl bid!! PPL complain about the play calling, BUT game after game we watch Rosier struggle to hit open WRs, TEs, and etc.. SO maybe that's one of the reasons why CMR keep his play calling conservative.. NOW I do believe our OLine struggled in the last 2 games BUT I must admit, the OLine did show up in big games as well and I don't think Searles have to worry!!

After the hurricane came thru FL, our Canes played 11 straight games!! NO EXCUSES BUT I really think that really came back to bite our Canes at the end of the season.. Believe or not!!

I think it's time for fans to move on from the ACCCG and let's focus on the bowl game and recruiting!! What has happened is over with and nothing will change.. Now let's see how our Canes play after getting some much needed rest!!

Just wait until signing day. Richt will sign a championship class and these limp-wristed sissies will cry about some guy that didn't want to be here.

Guy obviously doesn't know about the REAL "STORM FRONT". It makes some of us feel creepy, and more than a few of us really, really pizzed. Time to get a new screen name, buddy. Yesterday! Surprised the mods allow this.

Richts only recruited one class here in fairness.

It’s this simple. Hard to run anything deeper than bubble screens and slants when you have a Rosier at QB to pair with that OL.

Yes, true. Plus he's now working in a world where recruits meet their coaches 4 years in advance so even his 2017 haul wasn't entirely his.

10-2 and playing in the OB against #6 team. Crushed ND and VT, beat FSU, and won 1st coastal title.

lol @ OP if he's acting like he wouldn't have taken that at beginning of year.

Looking at his join date he wasn’t here at the beginning of the year **kanye shrug**

Man, the VT and ND games were weird. And even VT was a low energy start, that saw a early whiff on first and goal at the one and 4 turnovers in a row, and VT with the momentum and in position to take the lead in the third.

Amazing how a powerful ND team tapped out so quickly, when every awful opponent went toe to toe with us till the end.

Refreshing to experience so many wins that were always losses for a decade +. Maybe Richt deserves more credit? How many years in a row have lousy Coastal teams like UNC, VT, GT, UVA, etc beat us with inferior talent, often by blowout? If we had Cuse's QB this year, we blow out everyone and had a chance against Clemson. ****, if we had UNCs thrid string QB, or Pitts white guy, its 11-0 easy.

Clemson has been humming for years and is ahead of every other program in the ACC. It'll take some time to get there and I think Richt can do it.

I see us returning to the ACCCG for a rematch next year and we can be far better prepared. I think most of us just really hoped it could have been this year because it was our first appearance and we wanted it for our seniors.

The future is bright and it has been a great season.

Radio Made Dabo and Clemson. Unimpressive start to his tenure, until he took a bunch of clowns with a fan selected from the crowd as QB and embarrassed Radio and the hope of a Canes turnaround (the year we beat a highly ranked FSU, GT and OU, and despite a loss at VT, had the Coastal locked up). That and Bowdens decline opened the door for him. Started recruiting like a monster, took any S Fl kid he wanted, and the rest is history.

NFL evaluators assess Miami Hurricanes' draft-eligible players | Miami Herald

"• That AFC executive said the two areas where UM particularly needs to improve to be on Clemson’s level are quarterback and offensive line.

He said the line simply isn’t physically talented enough and UM must hope either Malik Rosier improves substantially or N’Kosi Perry wins the job next spring. “Rosier is just a guy; he needs to work on a lot of things,” the executive said."
