Stumbled across an article that mentioned Calais Campbell had 7 straight games with a sack which was the second longest by a Miami player. Couldn't find anything about who had the longest for the Canes, does anyone here know? Thanks for any help.

Danny Stubbs???

Go Canes

Im confused NFL or college? Sapp was in NFL in 2000. In the NFL i see no canes in the top of the list. But the list would be different if you count 1/2 sacks

In college. Just a random trivia thing I saw that stuck in my head and got me wondering. I couldn't find anything that said who had more than Campbell just that he was second. The NCAA didn't start officially counting sacks until ~2000 from what I can tell. Even though Stubbs is credited with 17 in a season in 1986 I couldn't find any game records listing sacks from that year. Thought I'd ask here and maybe a Miami fan would remember who it was.

Loved Stubbs, I remember one play where the opponent ran a play to the right and Miami's entire defense pursued, except Stubbs, the QB kept the ball rolling left and saw Stubbs flying through the air like Superman and simply rolled in a ball under Stubbs tackle. I can still picture it, the only two players in my view are the QB and Stubbs.
