Former Dolphin Samson Satele son Trison is the #1 recruit from Hawaii in the 28 cycle and will be national DT recruit in that cycle. Canes offered early in his Soph year (Oct 2025). Given that his father played in South Florida and he was born in Miami, he's got some roots/familiarity with the area, but his brother plays for Oregon so Mario has an uphill climb to get him away from the West Coast.

Father was Jason Taylor’s teammate during his rookie season; where he started at center. Dad played at Hawaii. Brother is a ‘27 LB currently committed to Oregon.

Father also was teammates with Stanford GM Andrew Luck for two seasons.
