Treon

whats the deal his whole family went to the U?

the deal is that he thinks he is a qb which is honestly hilarious after watching the btw-bishop gorman game. hes a slot receiver or a db but he think dumbo is going to let him play qb which shows a lack of intelligence imo... we want him as a slot wr or a db and told him as much and he didnt like it but whats he gonna do when he gets to trailerhassee and the move him to wr or db?if he really wants to play qb hes going to have to go to a mid level bcs school

Wants to play Qb. Miami doesn't want him as Qb. Jimbo lied and said he would be a Qb. He committed to FSu.

End Thread.

He only wants to play QB, and he does not fit what are coaches are looking for in a Cane QB.

We have offered him as an ATH to play WR or DB, but to him, that is a slap in the face since he views himself as a top QB and only a QB, even though he will be playing WR or DB in the Army All American Game.

Some of you guys who only love the local guys need to understand that the two QB commits we have fit what our coaches want more than a 5'10/5'11 QB who never plays under center.

I am very pleased with both Kaaya(I believe he sticks regardless of the UCLA and USC offers) and Rosier(who I like a lot more than Treon and Eduard).

Ice's kid can go somewhere else, I could care less.

And if he does end up sticking with FSU, than after one season of riding the bench behind Jamis he will switch to either WR or DB to get on the field.

He's improved as a QB from last year to this one. He's an ATH, however i wouldn't bet against him. If we lose Kaaya to UCLA, and I believe we might, I hope we offer him and he flips. He wants to play in Miami FWIW "Hometown" :stormwarning: Go Canes

He actually is playing safety in the army game. Tfwiw but some posters on itu are saying they are hearing he might be changing his mind about going to fsu and may have interest in miami but want's a shot at qb before switching to wr or db. Maybe all them teamates going to miami getting to him.

The pressure is coming from his family. They think if he's close, they can keep an eye on him and insure his success. They like fsu, but don't trust the city, other kids or program. I don't blame them.

I say give him a legitimate shot, if he finds himself buried on depth chart it will be his choice to move and help the team or ride the pine.

These kids talk tough but when push comes to shove, they WANT TO PLAY. Heck even Bridgewater was willing to move to wr at louisville his freshman season to get on the field. I say give him a shot, at that point he will see for himself and the writing will be on the wall

no reason he can't have a legitimate shot at QB. if it doesn't work they move him.

Jeff Godfrey 2.0. I remember Luke *****ing about us not taking him at QB and we'd regret it blah blah blah. Now he's a receiver at UCF. Treon's guna get moved eventually to DB or WR also. I wish some parents were like Alonzo Highsmith, whom all of you know is a scout for the Packers. He told AJ to move to safety because he knew it was his only ticket to the league, not QB.

I don't think he fits the system Coley is trying to run here. I also don't like the can of worms having a disgruntled Treon Harris in our locker room could open up. I like the fact that we're being upfront with him.

I don't think he's that kind of kid at all. Look, he wants to play QB....we want him at WR/DB....it's that simple. What's going to likely happen is he goes to FSU, plays QB for a year and switches positions when he realizes he won't see the field as a QB. Personally, I like his upside enough at WR/DB that I would let him try QB for a year and then flip him if it doesn't work out. I also think if we allow him to try QB he flips pretty quickly.

i dont agree they are about the same size but treon athleticism is why the coaches see his better potential at another position

Lol at dude liking rosier over treon... Have u watched a whole game of rosier? Treon is a baller at qb but don't sit here and act like u I seen rosier enough to know he's better ... Saying that I still don't want him as a qb

Honestly Treon might get a shot at QB. He is going to be behind Jameis for 1 year than its him, Franklin and there other QB commit. Jimbo kept James Wilder at RB when everyone else wanted him at LB.

Treon is still better than Rosier.

So why doesn't he back out of this game if he isn't playing QB? He obviously is backing out of UM for that same reason. Sounds like BS to me.
