Perry for sure. I can tell from interviews Richt loves Jarren WIlliams and sees him as the future.

He physicals looks the part...thick in the lower body and tall. saw him throw impressive balls in tight windows in his limited action.

perry aint UM material another 7 vs 7 SFL QB who can't read a defense. we heard it all through camp throwing INTs..we heard it all last year and this year his scrimmage completion numbers were awful.....we see i tin the games.....
 
Jeff Thomas, Gilbert Frierson. Frierson refused the move to Safety and is extremely unhappy. Thomas is ****ed and it shows in games. If the right team comes calling I could see Brevin leaving also. And one of Perry/Williams is gone.
 
What has changed in transfers? That they can play 4 games and still get a redshirt? They still have to sit out a year. The only difference is that now they can transfer to an ACC team without worry, I'm sure they are all dying to play for Duke.

The only transfers will be kids that get "pushed" out and the QBs minimum Weldon

Pump the breaks there. Brevin is going to finish the year close to double digit tds. He's not going anywhere. Jeff Thomas is a prime NFL candidate after next season. He's not going to transfer just so he can sit out a season and fall off team's radars. Of course Frierson is bummed. He's not playing. That's usually what happens with freshmen. They almost always get over it and get better. I do think one Perry or Williams ends up leaving, but I don't see a tidal wave of transfers coming because our offense has been bad.
 
I will say that a lot of our talented Freshman are unhappy and talk about leaving, but I will also say a few of these kids doing so have good family dynamics and will not leave.

The freshman are 18/19 yr old kids who have been the big man on campus for years. Not exactly a hot take to say they unhappy if they aren’t playing. I don’t see Gil or JT leaving. No chance in **** JT is playin for free after next year. I think Gil will put it together next season.

Just hypothesizing. My guess would be talented OOS kids on the offense would want to leave. Hence, Brevin and Jeff. I truly hope everyone stays. As far as Frierson, idk. I heard that from someone who knows. Maybe he'll come around.

Thomas isn't leaving to sit out when he can go pro after next year. Where do people come up with this stuff?
 
Unfortunately that might be the only way this inept administration does anything. Especially if @nycane is correct in hearing there is no pressure on Richt because they are believing so much in the 18 class

Kids do irrational things. He's our best player on offense and barely gets touches. You don't think he's mad?

Totally agree he is mad. He is also trying to get to the NFL as quickly as possible to help his family and has said such. Transferring and not playing for a year is not going to help that.

He’s very unhappy tho which I don’t blame him. He needs to be the main guy in this offense and with Perry getting pulled, him and Rosier don’t exactly get along. That’s why he considered transferring last year cuz of Rosier.
 
If Gilbert leaves then I lose all respect for him. He got time against FIU and got owned. He’s obviously not ready yet. You are a freshman, be patient, keep working hard, and you will get your time next year with 4 DB’s leaving maybe 5 with Knowles.
