After the draft a lot to think about…Who has eligibility left for us that you keep beyond a few obvious. What incoming freshman do you feel great about and which do you think it’s worth passing on to try and pluck a few portal guys. Honestly JD is in a tough spot. He may need fo let loose a few young talented guys who aren’t quite there to get instant impact guys. JD may be getting another year but our roster obviously still has holes where you can’t just hope 4 more Cuvets show up in the freshman class.

Most of the impact guys that are eligible are going to the draft imo, the only one I can see returning is Galvin but that might not happen with the incoming guys we have. I'd try and keep Evans and Hudson, I'll die on the hill that Hudson is a quality hitter and Evans hasn't found his footing with all the injuries.

Of the incoming freshman I really like Greenhouse, straight dude. Also like Peralta and Milano to keep the theme of three going here.

Copeland at MDC is probably going to be a dude too.

We really need to find 2 impact righties this offseason. Part of our struggles was the usage of so many lefties.

At least 2. Remember at the start of the season when we were all hoping Dorian would hit 8th or 9th in the deepest lineup we'd had in years? And now ...

First loss of the transfer portal season for the Canes

Miami was recruiting him for the past month or two.

MIT's assist Todd Carroll is the man.

Done a great job developing that kid. MIT to SEC is a massive jump though. But maybe they squeeze 1-4 more MPH out of him and they have themselves a late inning steal.

The commitment actually isn’t very shocking because of this research from @SWEaglesFan

Sebastian, what are the odds we get Magana, Dubovik, or Greenhouse on campus?

Thanks

Before the season ends....one of the most glaring questions has to be what are we doing to keep Cuvet for his junior season? Every big $ program will be all over him back channeling to get him.
Whatever happens with the coaching situation... getting #14 back on campus needs to be priority #1.

Is the outfield, Galvin, Torres and Fabio if they all come back?

Heard Williams has another year or eligibility, what if he comes back, RF or DH or nothing?
We will need better power numbers from our three outfielders. Not sure we bring back Torres. Batting average is horrible. Should go to summer ball and learn to hit line drives and ground balls. Good athlete who can't hit his weight.
