We all know Blake and his merry band of losers suck at their jobs, but if there truly was/is a 'disease' within the program (as Manny has mentioned) shouldn't we have cut ties with every individual associated with the previous regime(s), from the HC down to admin? I'll never for the life of me understand the logic of hiring a coordinator from a failed regime (but we've done this twice now in the past 15 years) with the hopes of achieving better results. At least Randy gutted most/if not all of the defensive coaches from Coker's staff. Manny retained everyone!

It's becoming more and more evident that we need a total teardown of the athletic department, and even if Flake and that c*nt Jenn Strowley won't step aside, we will not get back to where we need to be until we hit the reset button on this whole thing and drain the swamp. Unfortunately, given Manny is getting at least 2-3 years, we are looking at at least 5 more years of meddling until we see anything done differently.

While the problem is big, I think next steps at least are simple. Banner calling out Flake. Followed by a banner calling out Strowley, and then perhaps other members of admin.

Has anyone ever heard of or seen a fan base so visibility call out members of the Athletic Department like that? I haven't. It would be a complete first, even compared to previous banners here, and get attention. If you don't think that spooks some in the admin/BOT along with the steep cliff that revenue and donations SHOULD hit at this point, you're crazy. Pressure bursts pipes.

Then you get real aggressive and hire that guy who parachutes into stadiums naked with writing on his body. That would get the national media going for sure.

I didn't say they did.

But the atmosphere surrounding the program, starting with the fans, has caused this job to be held in even lower regard than it deserves. Professional expectations with none of the advantages of a traditional university setting.

And if you don't win tomorrow the fans will fly banners and call you incompetent.

Right...it’s the fans fault for having higher expectations for a program that has won 5 national titles, who produces some of the greatest and most NFL players in the history of the sport, in a weak conference full of low tier programs, located in South Florida where Football players grow on trees, etc. Shame on us for not accepting mediocrity.

Have you visited FSU sites recently? Do you not see how spoiled they are? Did you visit Florida sites last year when Florida lost to Kentucky? They were killing Mullen. It’s not any different with those fan bases. Stop being that guy and pretending Miami fans are impossible to please.

No. Incompetence causes fans to voice their displeasure. Not winning one game doesn’t get banners flown, 20 years of failure does.
