Appreciate the post and hope mine doesn't come across in a negative way, since that is not my intent.

Not shockingly those are the 1-12 states in terms of population except Michigan and New York, and then a bunch of states in the southeast. Illinois is really the only one that stands out to me since it is far afield and (that I know of) not known for producing a lot of football studs (basketball is a different story). I would have expected it to be similar to New York--one major population center with a handful of prospects and then a bunch of rural areas.
