Lanes and second level blocking early in the push.

The splits are intentional and so is the scheme.

Beggars can't be chosers, but what I would give to have an exotic run scheme like Texas or even the packers.

Oh well. The great wall is working. Just not flashy

These are the posts I love.

We are one of the top ranked rushing defenses. We played the run well all year outside of two misses against Florida and Lville. We crapped the bed against GT, no doubt. But we just controlled one of the best backs in the ACC in Claiborne. Also we are 10-1. First 10 win season in 7 years. We have legit change to win ACC championship first time ever. We do that and we get #3 playoff seed. But all that and you are still
Moping about GT. Must suck for you.
 
That’s pretty good considering two of our OL suck according to Barry Jackson. We would be #1 if we had 5 good ones.
 
Don't care how we rank as long as we feature our running game Saturday. Also would like to see Lyle and Ajay and even Johnson. As noticed when teams play us a good passing team gets beat when your running game dominates.

This is college football. There’s a reason why UiF has played football for 100 years and has NEVER had an undefeated season. It’s not even thanksgiving and there is ONE undefeated FBS team. It’s really, really, really, really hard to win every single game. It hasn’t happened in the NFL in 52 years. It’s very difficult.

Focus on the season. The whole body of work. We are 10-1 and have one football game in front of us to play for the ACC championship, which we’ve never won. GT is over and done with. These are season long numbers. If Notre Dame played Northern Illinois for the next 10 straight Saturdays, how many you think Northern Illinois wins? I’ll go with zero. But they won in September. That’s why we play seasons and not just one game.
 
I don't want to be ranked until...never mind. All this complaining about the run game is really starting to get to me.
