The guy has won 4 games. FOUR. At Houston. Not the Houston Texans. Not Texas A&M. The AAC Houston.
He hasn't even been a head coach for a full year.
What possible argument could you make in favor of this guy? I've seen a few.
"Well....derp derp.... he won the national title at OSU with his third string QB."
- Yes. And Urban Meyer has won national titles without Tom Herman on staff. Are you really going to tell me Tom Herman is the brains of the operation?
"Well.... Ohio State is really struggling on offense to start the year off.... a hurrrr drrrr."
- Yes, as they did last year. Remember how they lost to Virginia Tech, and remember all those nail-biters they were in? Remember how they almost got left out of the playoff, but how they got hot at the end of the season?
"Well.... He's got that offense rolling there in Houston. Quarterback looks like a **** Heisman winner... guh huh."
- The Houston area is the most talent-rich area of Texas. The city produces as many NFL players as the city of Miami. You wouldn't expect anything less from them.... they have better athletes than most teams in their conference. Athletes, by the way, that Herman DID NOT RECRUIT.
I mean, what am I missing? What's the big appeal with this guy?
