Good game Canes.
I never gave a game prediction on here so for those who will say I am wrong about something, please quote me so I can eat my crow about said subject.
Someone on here owes me 10 for the bet that said we won't score a passing TD. I prefer Venmo.
The Canes fans I tailgated with were awesome! The food was delicious and I will do it again the next time I'm remotely close to you dudes. I hope they can vouch for our scene, venue and city.
Takeaway. Toledo is still one of the best offenses you will see. We had hardly any game experience so it took a while to break in. Our halftime adjustments we're good. Miami's D line was just way too much. Our skill players are terrific so by shutting down Thompson that took some wind out of our sails. Our QB will be fine against lesser teams. He had little time for most of the game. I bet his runs annoyed some Canes fans in that 3rd quarter...Defensively we played good enough and Rosier played better.
Good luck against FIU. Like last season I hope this is a game Miami can hang their hat on. It will be a building tool for us.
All in all. The super bowl for Toledo turned out to be just that. I'd guess Miami brought 3 to 5k for what it's worth. Scattered orange on the home side and some nice sections remaining as the game came to an end on the away side.
