To everyone who defended Rosier this offseason.....

i have no problem with them defending rosier because everyone is entitled to an opinion. i have a problem that they had in their minds that malik was going to make some kind of incredible jump between his 4th and 5th years here, and anyone that dared question him wasn't a real canes fan. "but muh 10 wins and muh td record" was like a broken record all offseason.

the reality is that we haven't seen a stretch of bad quarterback play like this since wright/freeman in 2007.
 
But he beat fsu!

He shows up in the clutch!

He broke the touchdown record for Miami QB's!

And now he has single handedly destoryed all momentum from last years 10-0 start. College football is a what have you done for me lately sport and we are back to the same old miami who can't win when it counts.
 
I come clean. I was wrong! I gave #12 the BENEFIT of the doubt and what not. The bottom line: Malik was out performed by a true junior with NO previous game experience and all that. Go figure.

Oh, and one more notion. I'm no quarterback guru and have never played quarterback, but Malik has CHITTY passing mechanics ( Overthrown passes to WIDE OPEN receivers, for example! ), and still LOOKS DOWN his receivers. In other words, his passing is akin to Miami's final three games last season.

Nevertheless his atrocious offensive line isn't his helping him or Cane offensive matters and all that.

Nothing wrong with defending him as others have said . No one on here acted like they thought he would be all world that I noticed . Many , like myself , hoped he would be decent enough as that is all he needs to be if the Oline is consistent. The Oline and Feagles are just as much the problem . But I do think Rosier wont be starting by FSU time.

Literally LOL! U must be old school. Because #19 is my favorite QB during the ancient days of the NFL. Heck, I was the honorable beneficiary of Unitas signing a black and white photo of him in his Baltimore Colts uniform!

I'd beg to say that their approximately SEVENTY-FIVE percent of high school punters whom would have done a better job than Feagles! He!!, LSU scored " twenty points " because of his LAME punting ( Field position scores. ).

Again, Richt needs to look at his back-up punter. Heck, the kid CAN'T do any worst than Miami's current punter.

It’s amazing that you think Malik is the single thing holding us back.

Malik has regressed into a Kirby Freeman-esque QB, but there are a ton of problems with this team.

Unless Cam Newton is our QB, we still aren’t close to being a title contender.

This. Some posters really think we are a QB away from beating Bama! We have other issues like horrible DT depth (Bethel cant play that "Norton" role at DT), legit DB depth (Dean wasnt horrible but hes not a starter at this level) and OL issues (might be time to let Reed and Scaife cut there teeth in the next 2-3 games too)

And calling people out for supporting Rosier before the season started is crazy. You should be rooting for him until proven otherwise which he has. 4 game losing streak is enough for me. Im off the bandwagon. Time to make a change and this is the perfect time to do it if we are going to do it at all with 2 easy games coming up. If we dont now then we won't midseason when we actually have legit opponents.

Actually I'm 35. Lol it's just that I'm from Philly and you know ppl from Philly love their football. I love this game and I love my Canes and have a great respect for the older 🐐 who paved the way, like my all time favorite Eagle and Cane in my profile pic. Tru story, met Jerome Brown when I was eight at a youth center before he passed.

Calm the Fück down, bro. Dude with all of his faults and shortcomings got us to 10 wins, beat FSU, and to the OB. Now, I agree, dude is mediocre to say the least and I think his best ball is behind him...like last season behind. He has regressed to an even worse product and needs to ride pine.
