they just posted Bethune Cookman is "almost a sell out"..... 35+years of attending games there is no way I believe that could happen..... I get marketing gimmicks, but for BC????? that's a bold statement..... would love for it to be true though.....

This isn't new. They will announce 50K attendance and it looks like 25K on TV. Some opposing fans will buy season tickets for the one game they want to come and watch so those all get counted too. Guarantee you some Irish fans did that.

yeah, I heard they sold out all season tix... so if that's 45k, lol maybe once they sell 10k single game tix (to get to 55k), they're gonna call it "almost sold out"..

It helps that this game is at night but looking at the tickets on the secondary market, this is not a sell out. Nor should it be. Nobody sells these games out. Just want to get people sparsely pressed up against the last row and that'll mean it was very well attended for the opponent.

Something is going on.

I usually get two helipad slots in the Black Lot, but this year was only allowed one.

Total bull**** and just a naked money grab.

Probably a lot of people bought season tix for the Notre Dame and Florida Games. Doubt there is over 30k actually there....Probably less

Sold out means zero tickets left on the primary market. That has zip to do with the attendance.

Due to the addition of the new F1/ATP Pickleball courts in the Hard Rock parking lot, you now only get ONE helipad slot per 100-season-ticket purchases (which are then immediately listed on SeatGeek as entire rows for sale on the secondary market).

Times are tough for rich folks and their side hustles...

This isn't that complicated. If you try to buy tickets on the UM website, there are very few seats available unless you're a big fan of the last two rows of the upper deck. If nearly all of the seats are sold, the game is "almost sold out". Like they said.
