Before the board goes into a frenzy theres no way in **** I am comparing Luck to Jarren.. Luck is more talented thats not the point. Under harbaugh in a run heavy system Luck wasnt asked to do much. His first start they won but he went 11/23 193 yards, and 1 TD.
But the game I'd never forget is when they had to beat California in order to go to the Rose Bowl at the end of the year. Stanford was 7-3 and ranked #17. Luck was ******* horrible,
Here are some quotes from ESPN article:
Trailing 31-28 with 3 1/2 minutes to go, Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh decided to go for it on fourth-and-8 despite having all three timeouts remaining. Luck badly missed his receiver on the fourth-down throw, giving Cal the ball back.
Heres the throw:

In the last seconds Toby Gerhart carried defenders on a 29-yard reception that set up Stanford at the Cal 13 with less than 2 minutes left.
Luck then threw an incompletion on first down and was intercepted by Mohamed with 1:36 to go, setting off a wild celebration on the Cal sideline.
"It wasn't a good enough throw," Luck said. "I wish I had that one back. I could have done a lot of different things."
Luck finished that game 10-30 33% 157 yards and the crucial int in the waning seconds of the game. This game was at home against a Cal defense that wasnt **** and he didnt make the plays to win the game. He finished the season completing 56% of his passes on a run heavy team. He wasnt that great but you know what he showed that year? Accuracy! He was in Harbaughs system for 4 years and got better every single year. His RS Sophomore year he took off and the rest is history
I posted this because its ridiculous how a portion of our fanbase is judging JW after his first game with ****** protection. Did he hold the ball too long on several occasions? Yes. Did he not see open receivers? Yes every QB does. He also made winning plays.
It made me realize this board would be writing Andrew Luck off after that poor performance. Jarren will miss more open receivers and take more sacks, he will learn from experience. One thing you cant teach is accuracy and you cant create talent. If Jarren has the drive I believe he will take us to the promise land. Manny and Enos told you he has the upside, its just a matter of time guys
