I like the Brown Hire. The guy seems to be a coach for details. The guy himself was a very productive guy in the SEC. And the guy was not a superfreak athlete so you know he had to work for it. And you don't see too many RB's who are captains for thier football teams. The guy was a leader in college clearly. The guy seems to be a leader now. Might as well pick up before everyone finds out his true worth. Maybe Richt sees Brown as a future HC. And the Co OC is important during the week game planning. Down and distance, time of possession, red zone, all have multiple plays that a coach wants to call. And Richt needs a guy up top to tell what the D's tendency are. Who is winning the battles. Who are the mismatches? Richt has to trust this guy fully. Brown has played for him and must know what he wants. And maybe Brown was a student of the game beyond his years. Do you want a young smart coach coming up or a retread name guy who has done the same wrong things for 15 years?
