First things first Blake James more than qualified for the job. Two previous stints at the U associate A.D. tells me that he can identify what it takes to win at the University of Miami. Secondly, he hasn't had to hire a coach yet so relax.

Next is you guys need a lesson in PR 101. Don't trust what anyone says to media, Randy was given an extension months before he was fired in the same year.

Also do not underestimate the college football playoff semifinal being in the Orange bowl for next year as a catalyst for wanting the football program to get back on top ASAP.

Truth is the Board of Trustees athletic advisement committee chaired by Paul Dimare is the one that controls coaching hires not blake james.

Lastly in case you're wondering I'm not a slurper or a anything like that.

Golden absolutely deserves to get fired but if another school take some of our hands (which is what I think will happen) it will be the best thing for the program. There are a lot of excuses you can give an AD that doesn't have our same expectations.

You're missing the point. He is a retarded puppet. We need a structure change, 2 parts.

Part 1: We need to bring in a competent AD that is passionate about UM athletics.

Part 2: We need the admin to stay the *** out of the athletic department. They need to stop micromanaging because they suck at it.

He sold tickets and came back as a fundraiser. Relevant perhaps. Critical no.

Something tells me Butch would have stocked talent and the team would have won even without his immense talents in those high-profile and critically important roles.

Slinging tickets but that wasn't my point. My point is that he knows what winning at the U looks like
 
Title of thread "Website needs a purge..." then goes on to talk nothing about the website.

Most of the board knows Dimare and others hold the majority of the control. People are going to continue to be upset and vent their frustrations through message boards, social media, emails, etc. because our program is a shell of what it used to be. 6-5 in your fourth year at the University of Miami is pathetic.

the only thing good going for this website is that everything (minus the PMs from whoopingcane) are absolutely free.
 
We need a purge of anyone who believes things are anywhere near "ok" and that major change isn't needed

To sum up...if you find yourself agreeing with even 10% of the nonsense Don Bailey Jr says you should get the **** off this site.

Any way we can start administering IQ tests when a new poster tries to register for the site?
