We are about to not have any footing in our own back yard very soon.

-UF is about to take up major real-estate in the State of Miami.

-FSU is already entrenched in the State

-Clemson is starting to take up real-estate on the out-skirts on the State of Miami

-ND is trying to set up little pocket areas around the out skirts of the State of Miami

Pretty soon, if we don't make that change...a change that will lock up the State again, we will fall to oblivion. Our legacy will be just that, a legacy and literally, we'll b turning the hands back of time pre Howard S.

I'm actually crying right now seeing these gaytors celebrate in front of thousand of fans. I'm starting to think that its over for real.
 
Miami as we knew it is over most likely.

Any real school would have fired Golden after Cincy.

Miami is set up for a quick turn around
Just need to find the guy to do it
 
Now I'm seeing Clemson smoking the No 6 team in the nation...mind u they are doing this at night, on Prime Time TV, with Wind and Rain. (Welp, there goes that theory by Golden, I guess)

ND, and Clemson were not recruiting in the State...they were non factors.

UF had been but they were losing some ground...but that ground will be surely entrenched IF we don't hire the right coach and that's a really big IF.

I'm talking about back in the day, not now. It's obvious now. We have 4 legitimate teams that are bumping us out of our recruiting grounds and our grip on the State is dangerously loose.

You have a secret weapon in butch Davis in who if we hire these kids will flock go play for him. But we won't ******* use it
 
We ARE no more than a lousy midmajor ourselves anymore with these past 3 terrible coaching hires. It will take a GD miracle to reverse this trainwreck anytime soon.

Just an unending nightmare with this lousy admins and BOT. The answer is there, but these pizzants won't swallow their pride and make the obvious change. I hate this effing school!

Yet, I just read from a poster that we are in better shape today under Golden vs under Shannon in 2011. I'm wondering how?

I hate to break it to you, but this program is ****. The glory days are over. Compared to the 70's when Howard took over, the state of Miami football right now is WORSE.

Yes, worse.

We will lose 7 or more. Recruiting will collapse. Golden will be fired... and replaced by Mario Cristobal, Justin Fuente, or some other cheap MAC garbage. It WON'T get better.

They will let Butch pass on by. Maybe to Arkansas.

Meanwhile, Oregon will hire back Chip Kelly, Texas will hire some home run big-hitter, Tennessee will spend $5 million on a real coach.... and we will turn in to Wake Forest.

Our admin are both CHEAP and STUPID, and that combination is lethal.

Stick a fork in Miami football.

We're done.

This is sobering, but potentially true. Outside of Butch, I would accept Herman since he's from Meyers' blood line...but potentially, we could hire a F up and traitor in Cristobal. Literally, if the next hire is not the one we need, it's a wrap.
 
UF winning tonight was a MAJOR blow to recruiting. They can now sell kids on the fact that they ARE back not just TRYING to be back. UM would have to beat FSU, VTECH, CLEMSON to win respect back for the program.
