There are alot of you here who think back in the day Miami was on equal footing with OU, Nebraska and SEC schools in the 80s, up to our last glory days. Cut the bull. We played games in 2001 with empty seats in the Orange Bowl, even during the long home streak. We have better facilities now than we did then. We have an indoor practice facility. We play in one of the best venues in the world. Some of you have never been to Hard Rock, you should visit if you can. Playing off campus has no impact on our attendance and actually its probably better now with the roof. We have never had crazy boosters with money, its not more crazy now than it was in the 80s. SMU got the death penalty because of bags being out of control, it was as bad then as it is now. People want to act like its different, its not.

I'm saying these things to say this Miami's #1 selling factor for kids to come is and will always be, the HC and the coaching staff on a whole, who then create and style of play and culture that is entertaining and also prepares players to move to the next Level. Its the number 1 selling factor when you combine that most of the players we want are within 100 miles of campus. It is the same factor that allows us to attract out of state top talent who has schools closer to their home that gets 100k per game. For example, Skinner is not considering Miami for crowds and bags. Its about our tradition at the TE position and it used to be that way for multiple other positions. If he wanted bags and great facilities he commits to Clemson instantly. Yall put more emphasis on these things than the kids do. Simply to explain why your favorite coach being dog poo is ok and not his fault.

Getting a proper coach with the right abilities should be our main objective, which also means getting rid of Diaz. Development of players as people and players together, not one or the other, should be the first thing we look for in a coach. He can be Flamboyant like Jimmy or under spoken like Howard and Butch. Their talent was developing players and men. Thats Miami #1 attraction.

Complaining about people dropping bags is a fruitless enterprise. You drop bags when you live in the middle of nowhere, where all you see is cows grazing and you have to incentivize kids to go into areas where everybody there look like people who don't like them. And you know as soon as they kids leave school they are high tailing out of there. USC is going through the same thing we are, and they have better home crowds and boosters but not on the level of Bama etc.

I don't know about anyone else but i know hiring bum coaches has been the #1 problem. Its not the other things making them a bum, its them being a bum makes the other things seems like bigger problems then they are.

Perfectly said! But be aware of the manure slurpers who will come on here in defense of there abortion of a corch and say it’s “all about bags bro” “Miami can’t compete bro” “who are we gonna get better then manure bro” and so on and so on bunch on nonsense! Never mind the fact that we had Mario 3 years ago with the Soffer family paying his whole contract which would have left a fortune for top notch assistants! But of course flake thought it would be a better idea to pay temple 4 million to keep a DC with no head coaching experience from a failed staff as head coach! Smh oh and let’s not forget Manure dork *** never even played the ******* game he’s pretending to coach. The levels of incompetence at UM are legendary!
