This linemen situation with the heritage kids makes no sense to me. Michigan currently has 2 three star tackles committed and 2 four star tackle committed counting the heritage tackle Herbert. The lead for 5 star Isiah wilson who many say is the top OT in the country. They also lead for 4 star Army all american OT Chuck Filiaga.

The current two deep at Michigan has a true sophmore at left tackle in grant newsome. The right tackle is a redshirt senior whos back up is a 4 star army all american freshman that would start for most other teams an will start next year at right tackle. The current right guard is a senior, and his back is a redshirt junior. The left guard is a redshirt senior, but his back up is a 4 star army all american Michael Onwenu that is redshirting as a freshman.

For kids who value playing time this does not make any sense to me. There is a reason Michigan did not send any one down to heritage the other week and choose to go everywhere else. I hope these kids or their parents sit down and really evaluate his situation.

I understand playing for a winner, but at least really take a look at all of the options. With better Oline play Miami will be back. I just dont get not wanting to help put Miami back where it belongs. You can be legendary here and get drafted with a private school education and the beach is down the street.

wow what happens when Harbaugh bolts back to the league.

If I had to guess he will not go back unless he gets wind of violations coming down, similar to Pete Carroll. He can probably have more control, more money, and more stability where he is at than any NFL job.

Wouldnt surprise me one bit if both Slaton and Herbert went there and both transferred within 2 years.

Kids don't give a f*ck about Playing time, they just say that because it sounds good in interviews.

The only thing that matters is relationships & $$$...

Michigan Official Visit Solidifies Commitment From Nation's 24th-Ranked Offensive Tackle, Kai-Leon Herbert - Football Recruiting - Scout

I assume you mean sexual relationships, cause I doubt any other kind can really be in same sentence as $$$$.
Lol, no I obviously mean relationships between the player & the coach that's recruiting him the most.

It's recruiting and 18yr old kids. Making sense is not a feature of this particular annual occurrence. Don't believe anything until the paper is signed, the kid is on campus and involved in practice. Even then sometimes kids get pulled off the field.

Go Canes!

I think Harbaugh will be there at least 6-10 years. After the way the blowups with San Frans GM and ownership went i'm sure he's relishing his near impunity at michigan.

Probably pretty happy about the tail spin the 49ers have been in since he left too. Especially the way that ended and the owners siding with the GM over him.

Sounds like a nice problem to have doesnt it? I wish we had the luxury of stacking our roster and having the best compete for the #1 spot. Once that happens, who cares if someone transfers bc you know you have the better one.

Michigan and any other school for that matter could care less if this is the scenario bc if they arent starting or in the 2 deep they are expendable anyway. This is why Richt has to have many tough conversation with our JAGS. You cant come and re-build and let guys that are never going to play effect YOUR roster re-build. Its a tough business and I feel bad for some of these guys but they arent cut out to be part of the Richt era.

Michigan might drop herbert *** if they land those other dudes. They lead for ceaser ruiz too and i think he is the #1 center. No way they are going to take 10 o-linemen.
