This is the only logical explanation for Richt and our qb situation

My theory is that Richt's guy is Williams who is not ready yet. Instead of picking Perry or Weldon now but then having another competition in the spring when presumably Williams would be ready, Richt was hopeful that Rosier would have fared better. This would also suggest that between their off-field troubles and/or lackluster performance, Perry and Weldon were not obviously better than Rosier. I don't think he now has that luxury and will give plenty of snaps to the younger guys over the next 4 games with the likelihood that one of them starts over Rosier on 10/6 against FSU. We'll see.

Nah... don't overcomplicate it.
Richt was just playing safe ... Rosier was the safe choice. .... and now he has to be stubborn to prove his point.

he's the only one with legs semi good enough to make the oline work. . . that's more logical than waiting behind a guy that he would be clearly better than if he's "the guy".

Rosier is about as safe as being on the side of a road in a broken down car in heavy ISIS and/or Taliban tribe territories.

It could be that Williams is Rich's guy and it could simply be that Williams is the better of the 3 young QB's.

As for Rosier starting the LSU game, IMO that was the obvious choice.

I am of the opinion that Williams is and will be the guy. Both Weldon and Perry have suspensions under their belts. It will be difficult to find words to describe the mass exodus at the QB position if Williams were to start as a true Freshman. They have to proceed with caution, especially since they missed on their QB target for this class.
