Take exactly what the defense gives you in any given game, series, etc. Does not mean you cannot try and take the top off once and awhile against zone. In fact, you should. But we have enough balance and OL strength to play smart. Not overly conservative...just smart. I put a lot of this on Dawson to make sure the play calls give us this option including the right run/pass balance, and then on TvD to hit the right guy in the passing game. Miami Oh should be the blueprint for a soft zone. Texas A&M the blueprint if they stack the box and play man. Super frustrating.

The GT and UVA games should have gone way more like Miami Oh especially in the 1st half of both games where we were pressing to run our base offense instead of just taking the easy path.
