This is Cincinnati last year...

Grind em out on the ground, Max protect and keep their offense off the field. They showed the playbook against UT and we haven't shown **** on offense. We have a massive advantage. Playing in front of 23k shouldn't intimidate anyone. We win by 21

App has played extremely vanilla the past two weeks. The lack of passing isn't the norm and there is a lot that hasn't been shown. Lamb didn't throw for 32 TD's last season and run for 5 more running the type of offense that has been shown the past two weeks.

So App Store was playing vanilla against UT to hold things back for their brutal Sun Belt schedule? LOL

It's not Cincinnati because they don't have a QB that can throw for 400 yards against our secondary that was missing Deon Bush. Not an explosive offense.

Wrong, he threw for 279. Not the definition of explosive.

I honestly didn't know what he threw for against us, I just know he went on to put up insane stats the rest of the season. He threw for 279 while we couldn't stop the run.

He COULD have thrown for 400 had they not ran so successful and run the clock out. App States QB couldn't throw for that if he had to

Uh no, wrong again. He didn't throw for more than 279 yards in any following game.

He threw for 550 yards against Memphis the week before we played them, and I thought Kiel missed the remainder of the season and he went on to have a **** good year. I said they had an explosive offense that was capable of torching our secondary without Deon Bush. Why are you so busy trying to call me out? I'm just trying to make a point that this isn't Cincinnati of last year. I actually had some sort of fear of their offense going on the road on a Thursday night to play them in a short week coming off that Memphis game.

I'm not scared of App State. This game shouldn't be treated as so. It should be taken seriously and we should go in and roll them. They can't stretch the field like Cincinnati could. Is that so hard to understand?

Dude, settle on a point and make it. Are you trying to say that he was explosive during the game, after the game, before the game, he could've been explosive if they didn't run? Wtf man. Yes it is so hard to understand.

Smh.. still can't believe we're going to this ****hole

Nothing can come out of it.. no one wants to be there

Previously I said I expected richt to come out in a spread with kayaa in the shotgun but, now I just expect us to line up and run them over I formation style all game long

Kayaa better get his **** together too

I said App State doesn't have a QB that can throw for 400 yards vs our secondary. They don't have an explosive offense. Cincinnati did have both of those. I didn't mean he did throw for 400 on our defense, he could have because we were missing Deon Bush for a half.

Not sure why you're trying to call me out here. Are you trying to argue that we should be scared of App State? I'm saying we shouldn't because their offense isn't as good as Cincy was last year. Not really sure if you're trying to make an argument or a point about us playing App State or just trying to take credibility away from my post. Either is fine, but the fact is still Cincinnati had an explosive offense with a QB who was coming off an insane game with the ability to torch us and App State isn't even going to let their QB throw more than 20 passes because he's not good enough.

Play this game in a phone booth. Toughest team wins. Forget about trying to exploit our insane talent advantage. Talent is for pvssies. Play this one on a postage stamp.

come out and play patty cake with an inferior team, worked well at Cincinnati last year, we out athleted the crap out of them

Ask UNC if Baylor played pattycake with them last bowl season when they hung 600 yards rushing on them out of the spread.

Some of you nincompoops, and that's a term of endearment, think spread automatically means throwing every down. It doesn't. It actually opens up running lanes and makes it tougher for physically overmatched teams like App Store to hang.

I believe it was a freshman backup

AG is no longer involved with this program so any loss in the previous five years cannot be compared to this years team

*****ers....shove a chorizo and some soft balls up you puzz and at least pretend to be men for this game. you can return to your usual sloppy mess afterwards.

First offensive series should by play-action every play until we punt. Herndon down the seam. Coley on a fly pattern. Worst case scenario is we keep the safeties cautions for the rest of the game. Best case is we score on the first play.

Yeah, sorry still have no clue what point you're trying to make. Guess I should go back to fairy tale logic school and read up. This whole 400 yards thing is just completely arbitrary and not sure how you're trying to make an argument with something you just pulled out of your ***.

Each of these QB's averaged 8.4 yards per pass last year. I'd hold off before crowning one as "explosive" and one as significantly inferior.

We may need 300 yards on the ground if Kaaya continues to fail to hit the side of a barn.

while I am a fan of your post over on TOS....This particular comment sucks homie. O-line needs to block better and his receivers in particular Njoku need to catch the **** ball.

How about Cincinnati being the number 6 passing offense last year vs App State 93rd. Does that clear it up for you or are you just full ******?

Now you just brought Gunner Kiel into the argument. So no, that does anything but clear up your argument. Please stop.

There is TRUTH in my comment and your comment.

Brad has been very erratic, even with a clean pocket. I agree the O Line needs to be more consistent. I think Brad needs to be more vocal on the field. You know, light a fire under the players, especially the O Line. His Body language is really passive.

lolll. I get that you obviously believe this because you keep typing it, but you're wasting your time. Nobody else is going to believe this. Just let Miami fans be ignorant.
You played vanilla against UT because you had to. You were incapable of passing the ball. Your coach did not say, "Lets draw up a game plan that will only score 13 points and we will need a botched punt to even get to 13." He drew up that game plan because he had no choice. App. State didn't have the ability to pass the ball against UT. It's not that App. State didn't want to. It's not that App. State was hiding the playbook and holding something back for the better teams down the road. You weren't going to be capable of passing the ball against a legit P5 team. The coach knew that, so he didn't try. Instead he tried to bleed the clock, avoid negative plays (which passing the ball would have), play keep away, and hope time expired before the offense's inability to do anything caught up with the team. It didn't, and you lost.

If we line up in I-formation more than 25% of the time it will be a bad coaching job by Richt. Spread them out and go RPO all game. The only chance App. State has on defense is if we just crash everything into the box.
