but I believe the mother fvcker is ready to win this big one. This win and maybe one next weekend would put him in the HOF in my book. After that we roll Clemson and roll our way all the fvckin' way to the Natty! Let's go Canes, show em' where you live and take what the defense give you and you boy's will be fine.

He coached plenty of big games while at UGA. He won some big games that mattered.

He's been there before in the SEC.
 
He's won a ton of big games, but couldn't get past elite teams that went on to win it all.

This is a big game, but VT is not elite.

No the only thing Richt hasn't proven he could do is a win a title as he has done every thing else. He won the SEC , he won the SEC east and he made it to a few huge bowl games but he just never played for a title which in the SEC which either had Bama (from late 10's to now ) or UF ( in the late 90's early 00's) isn't a knock at all. UGA won't win a title with Smart either and Smart shouldn't be bashed for that either as until Saban retires Bama runs that league . I do think Richt will take UM to the playoffs and with the title the city of Miami provides I suspect Richt will get his title in the next 5-8 years.

Even if we lose to VT and ND I'm not gonna put it on CMR. We are in year 2 of a full rebuild. We are at 73 scholarship players, star RB out for year, baseball player at QB, and youth everywhere.

ND is better than us right now. In the trenches is where their strength is.

VT is def winnable, but I still think Fuentes has his system up and running faster than Richt to this point (helps that a top 5 DC decided to stay on staff). CMR didn't have that luxury.

Its funnier when they say we are irrelevant and 'live in the past' but our Dynasty rose and fell since their last title. They dont like it when I say that. I live in Atlanta.

you cant win the SEC a few times the way Richt did and not win a few big games along the way

The only thing missing from his trophy case is the national title. That's why he's at Miami..

he isn't great in big games so we will see Saturday how much he's learned and changed from what got him fired at UGA. frankly, he's given us little evidence to create an whirlwind of hope with how the team has looked the past couple games, however that doesn't mean we aren't due to finally play a good game when it matters the most. will find out soon enough
