Auburn is not good. But it’s just like football wherein teams in certain conferences get over ranked no matter their records.
BYU is now 7-6 in their conference and still ranked.
The SEC is simply not a great conference and I believe that will play out in the NCAA tournament. But their teams lose no ground for losing within the conference (or apparently outside the conference considering Michigan neat Auburn by 30).

I am confident UM would beat every team on the screen shot, and would be favored by Vegas to do so.
