Whether people here saw it or not, it always was a rebuild. That doesn't mean the rebuilding process couldn't be going dar better.

Ok this is the first time I’ve seen Manny flinch- just doesn’t know what to say... I’ve been holding on hope but we are completely average this year... maybe less then. You have to give manny another year- it would be far worse to pull the plug so soon but I’m done for caring much for this season. Unless we pull a massive haul of OL and a kicker from portal or HS, it’s hard to imagine we will be going in right direction next season... a bit of my spirit died tonight 😕
 
We had a chance the past 2-3 yrs to get things going in the right direction again. Richt unfortunately was too stubborn to make little changes (hire a ******* oc)...was perfect timing given that manny was leaving, could have sold it is a spring cleaning of staff given the departures or some BS. But no he folds and so do our chances of remaining relevant. We then hire from the temple line of corches.......because apparently that is the coaching fountain of life, the garden of eden where GOATS come from (I'm being sarcastic). No one who's done a good job or been hired @ temple has ever done Jack **** anywhere else. It's like a stamp of failure, a tattoo of watery **** on any chorches . But that's where we look to hire our corches.

We hire Manny in what seems like a Cinderella moment, what it really was unfortunately, another example of major incompetence @ various levels within the athletic dept. Manny then proceeds with those big and bad antics as if we won something, only to then get kicked in the mouth and fold like ***** when season arrives. That rebuilding **** is just the next phase in the evolution of ****. Next will be the exodus of juniors to NFL and transfers. That coupled with the ****** recruiting will seal the deal on our next few seasons. We might even see an exodus of corches who are getting ahead of the sinking ship. Remember we all criticized Mario (me included) for what he did when Alf was here but it was just a sign.

Manny has already checked off numerous behaviors exhibited by past idiots who should not have been hired. The excuses are just a sign of whas to come. Hope I'm wrong but history doesn't suggest it. El Padrino is a fuggin Joke.

I really don't think you need to give him another year, although I think they will give it to him. It's obvious he's lost. Wait until you see this last month of the year. Guys, this team is going to totally fold on him. It's scary to think, but they're this bad and they're actually still TRYING. After his rebuild comments, it's over. Every kid in the locker room with eligibility is pondering the portal right now and if they can get a waiver to play right away.
 
****, we’re going to be bad for the prolonged future. Maybe after Alabama bludgeons us in a few years will wholesale changes be made including our incompetent AD.

I’ve always been optimistic about my Canes and even our coaching hires but for this to fall off the rails 7 games in is mind numbing.

I’m curious how Manny plans to “rebuild” when no high caliber player is going to want to board this sinking ship. He does realize this ain’t the pros and you can’t tank your way to quality players.

What an embarrassment we’ve become...

Then the excuses will move another position... DT or LB ... every year we will have a "young & inexperienced" excuse.

What are we going to rebuild aside from the coaching staff? The roster is littered with undeveloped & undercoached blue chip talent.
