looking back, i think we haven't been 2 wins away from winning a NC or MNC since 2002.
we've only played in the ACCCG once, in 2017. if we won against clemson, we would have probably gone to the semifinals - so in 2017 we were 3 games away. 2003 we won all our last games and headed into the orange bowl ranked 10.
