Theory: What if we got Jr all figured out wrong?

How do you know Jr is incompetent? Are you in Miami Human Resources or in that room evaluating his performance? 95% of this board wouldn't give a shiit about Jr if Kosi was starting. I'm sure lots of people have been in job situations where it was hard for them to do their jobs because the person above them was a dumbshiit and therefore made your job harder. For Jr, it is double worse because the guy above him is his Dad so naturally you have to obey and not talk back to and the other dude played for daddy so there is a natural alliance.

Well I can tell you this I went to grad school and took many HR classes. If you are a sales leader and none of your employees make their sales goals you are going to be fired. We don't have competent play at the QB position on a weekly basis point blank period. I don't care who is playing and who is coaching them. That needs to be fixed.

I went to grad school too. I don't know what other way to say this; Rosey is not producing but the CEO doesn't care. Jr is middle management and already once fired this guy but the CEO re-hired him. The once fired guy is looking and laughing at Jr. How do you think Jr feels about his relevance in the organization? Daddy just made u look real small in front of his own room.

If he has any dignity and don’t want to be blamed he should move on himself without having to put richt in a compromising position

I think Richt kept Kosi in against FSU thinking UM was eventually losing and to teach his Son/QB coach a lesson. Problem is his plan blew up in his face and now has to try and walk things back without trying to create a QB controversy and look like he was secretly trying to sabotage Kosi. All this flowery language about Kosi in good standing is cover fire and disingenuous bullshiit. Richt opened pandoras box and is now trying to squeeze the ugly genie back in the bottle. The team sees it and the implosion began.

Jr was sure about Kosi over Rosier to finish the FSU game but daddy wanted Rosier from all the chatter. Jr looked like a genius after. I have to believe Jr being younger understands these guys better and how they relate to today's game. Not daddy though.

Richt then looks for any soft ***' weasel reason to pull Kosi in the next game after one of the most incredible comebacks in the history of this rivalry. Who does that? I can't imagine Jr being pleased.

Seems to me Richt's ego is hurt and is intentionally doing the most irrational thing to save his face (even if it is Jr) in his mind but is really hurting the program. The rift may be between Jr and Daddy and nobody wants to bring it up. When was the last time you saw Jr on the sideline? This is why Richt struggles to give a rational answer when it comes to Rosey. It is no longer about production when that is one the key things this game is built on. Any reasonable coach would yank Rosey for his nationally 3rd rated dual QB stud at this point. It's personal. Father vs Son. Perhaps that is the only logical explanation at this point. Rumors of Richt behind the Kosi leak video almost fits perfectly for his narrative and rationale to out flank Jr. Only a prideful uncompromising unemotional stubborn shiitbag would sabotage his own team....geez what a coincidence. Jr might leave but it may not be the reason we are thinking of.

Be gentle. My comments only.

Was Jon Richt actually named Mark at birth? If not, why be unnecessarily imprecise by referring to him as Jr with no context to lead up to such a nickname?

So you think Richt has purposely thrown the season to try to teach his kid a lesson......
Newsflash Jr is incompetent. Look at his recruiting strategy this year and it sums it all up. Ever since he has been here we have struggled at the QB position.

Have you been paying attention? Richt has mismanaged the QB battle. Richt's moves has caused some of these kids to pack it in. Again, how do you know Jr is incompetent? Does Jr call plays? Jr wants to play Kosi. Jr flew over 5 times to Oregon to recruit MJJ. Jr and Daddy might not see eye to eye and the premise of this entire conversation. Is Rosey producing? Why is the CEO so enamored with this fluke?
