The UNC game is going to be HUGE in determining the rest of the season

Sadly, we will struggle and be life and death for most of our remaining conference games. Not feeling good about UNC game at all but agree that it is a big game. My guess is that we'll see many of the same struggles that night - delays of game, tackles slow getting out of stance, DL getting worked, etc.

Whenever you can't protect the QB or run the ball, virtually every game will be a struggle.

An important note about this game, not sure if it’s been brought up because I’m not reading this thread:

Senile Mack Brown shltcanned Manny and sent him packing. UNC won 2 games last year. We just lost to our rival and have 2 weeks off.

If we don’t come out for blood, looking markedly improved all around, and try to run the score up, I’ll be slightly worried.

Wait, there are people on here who legitimately think we won't beat UNC?!? Jesus christ. We played a top 10 team last night.
UF is only a top 10 team on Paper, reality says different. I agree with you there is no way we get beat by UNC .... NONE!

I respectfully disagree. Bethune Cookman is not huge, etc. There are some games that are bigger than others. The UNC game is a window into whether or not we are resurging as a program long term.

A second game into college football season answers some questions but doesn't necessarily mean as much insofar as how a given team will look in November...just pull up an online article or video of pundits chatting about certain teams in September of prior seasons....heck, many had us "back" on several occasions...having said this, ALL GAMES ARE BIG, even Bethune Cookman as even in that game, if we are sloppy and don't take care of business early, we have to keep vital players on the field longer thereby exposing them to potential injuries, suspensions (targeting), etc.

We’ll be motivated to play but I doubt the offense is going to look much more functional than it did Saturday. Game will be close. UNC won’t be able to run the ball at all. If we can score 24+ we’ll win.

I think it's very possible. UNC has beat us before with very inferior talent. Plus, the mental "hangover" for UM players from the UF game and all the hype that led up to it. UNC getting to see what "worked" against the U. Lastly, I'll be very surprised if the Gators end up in the Top 20.
