Donna and the admin dont allow these types anymore. AQM kicked out of school for getting in a fight with a former walk on. What a joke we have become.

After this comes out the admin has too make a change this will smack them out of the football coma that they are in.

We will never see that type of culture on our football team as long as Passive F.A.G is in charge. This is the type of stuff covered in the locker room before a game instead:

Hit Stick Bust **** Talk Siht!

I doubt that any of the Blades clan would be allowed on the team these days.

This is gonna be an even bigger indictment on the big 10 culture that Golden has created.

It could all be this way again starting next week. Nobody at Miami has the spine to make the obvious move to bring this program back.

Hit, but only if you're the one player designed to make the tackle in this scheme
Bust down bad habits and rebuild them using our pillars
Talk like we're a top 50 academic institution

When Al and company first came to Miami, they started promoting these coaching clinics to the local high school programs. They weren't really about football or sports; they were more about positivity and leading/mentoring with positivity. I didn't really have an opinion on it back then--didn't really interest me. Maybe this is why we are the way we are.

Maybe too much positivity is just as ineffective as too much negativity. Maybe too much positivity creates delusion, or a false sense of security. It definitely hasn't created any anger or aggressive play. I think with anything, there needs to be a balance. I can't help but compare everything to Jimmy--everyone knows he was a master motivator. From what I've heard, Jimmy was the master at playing the result. He was able to treat everyone differently, but fairly. I have to imagine that Jimmy was an upbeat, positive dude, but brought out some dark stuff when necessary.

This ultra-positivity stuff seems to have been a failed experiment, and we're the ones that have to pay for it.

Nate was so important to what we became. He was a straight monster on that field. Would have gone down as one of the greatest college backers ever if he hadnt faxed that letter to the NFL

You know how you see **** from your childhood that takes you back to that place? That's how I feel whenever I see stuff like that. That feeling of awe seeing people play football with that kind of attitude, that kind of swag. It blows me away every time.

Also, I'm tired of people (mostly the sunshine pumpers) saying **** like "that was back in the day we can't act like that now." Act like what? It wasn't about the hoopla and hollering, it was about the expectation to win. About KNOWING that the other team had nothing for you. That doesn't need to disappear nor should it but it seems we have gotten WAAAAAY to far away from that attitude. Don't need to go out there talking **** and dancing around but we should go out and hit stick bust **** every ******* play.
