No more The U, Swag, All about the U etc. Can we stop with that trash already and reference them as the University of Miami Coral Gables. Boring as it sounds the truth is they are boring and dead!

Sadly I was there as well...the only positive for us Miami fans in my section was that the flag runners for LSU kept running out and spelling 'tigers' wrong. Never wanted to get out of a stadium so fast...until that 2008 GT game where they put up like 500 yards rushing on us.

On 10-28-2000 we attended the game at LA Tech. I remember meeting many LSU fans who were respectful and deferred to the Canes lofty status, at that time. Hard to believe what's happened since.

The U isn't dead. We've just had three bad coaches in a row. Even though Larry Coker had early success and we didn't see it yet, the decline started when he was hired. He was our first bad coach in 20 years. One good coach can bring it back.

This myth is tired and old. "LSU ended the U" blah blah blah. Man WE DIDNT WANT TO BE THERE! WE SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN THERE! We lost to a GTECH team that shouldn't even have been on the same field as that team! Smh.

If anything, you can say that will be the closest we will ever get again to getting to the National Title game. Smh. One win away..

I was there got cursed at while walking around downtown after the game by LSU fans. They were classless. I was with my dad and 9 year old sister at the time. I was 11.
