There are two types of Canes fans. The "win at all costs" type and the "win at all costs, but..." type.

The "win at all costs" type are the ones who are more aggressive. If they were running the program we would win big but eventually, we would likely be sanctioned again. You may find them advocating for a guy like Lane Kiffin, or being an Art Briles apologist.

The "win at all costs, but..." are the ones who are more conservative. They are concerned about PR so they would pass on the Kiffins of the world. If they were running the program we would win but likely never big. You may find them advocating for an OC that's proven (good or bad) over an OC that's unproven but has potential; like Applewhite over Scott.

At the end of your celebration youwould either be in the locker room, permanently banned from NCAA football or under investigation. Short term wins, have a ball.

In today's NCAA, the "win at all costs" crowd is juat as likely to provoke crushing sanctions BEFORE they win.

For Miami ro regain and sustain long term success, a way has to be found to bend, but not break rules.

lane and briles don't belong in the same sentence. one can be a douche, the other enabled and covered up systematic rape by his players over several years. there's no comparison.
