I'm not saying Miami is a racial Utopia but you sure as **** would never see THIS happening on campus. Why do so many want to take their talents to these areas and play for the people there?

Agree...but Two things - 1. there were TWO confederate rallies on the campus. 2. I would not have known about those confederate rallies if it weren’t for those players kneeling. And I want to know when there is confederate rally happening

Is it possible that they aren't protesting the symbol? That maybe they are choosing that moment because people are watching, but the intent isn't to actually disrespect the flag or their country or the people who have died for their country?

No, you don't win people over by ****ing them off. But It feels a little like people are using outrage about the flag to deflect what the protesters are saying. Nobody talks about whether Kaepernick has a point or anything or if it's ok for a group to be saying prayers to slave owners outside, it's just that the flag is being disrespected. And maybe it makes people feel like they're lives aren't important when their fellow citizens would rather talk about the flag.

And for what it's worth, I don't get down with disrespecting the flag. I just wonder if our priorities are a little fcked up if we think that's more important than listening to what people have to say.

When Kaepernick and Eric Davis, Malcolm jenkins , M Bennett and those other **** cry about police brutality how about they go spend their ***ing off day on Monday or their entire offseason in front of a police station???? You don’t dis the flag EVER.....it’s that ***ing simple....go March in front of every police station...that’s fine.

Those dumb ***s don’t get it. Maybe you don’t either. I am HAPPY to “listen” to their issues but I’m NOT going to tolerate them being ******* and disrespecting the flag. *** them.....
 
um...there would be kneeling on UMs campus if the KKK decided to take it over. that would never happen tho
