Lou, Lou, Lou -- We need to get a Lou Piniella like chant for this guy, particularly if its going to be a long season!

Punting Stats - ACC 3rd Lou Hedley 47.2 Yd Average, but he punted 5 times and the two Punters ahead of him had combined 5 punts, and they had 63 and 65 yard punts, no way they'll keep that up.

Lou dominated Bama's punter who had a 31 Yd Average and is 13th in the SEC. So at least one Cane beat his man.

The only team finishing worse than the Canes on Total Offense was Clemson (Restrepo was #16 in receiving stats).
The only team that gave up more yardage than the Canes (501), was Louisville (569).

So who’s offensive performance was worse. Miami or Clemson? I say Clemson cause on paper they should be way better and and I think bama defensively is better than Georgia. Even Georgia did look really good
I noticed this was glossed over on ESPN. Clemson and the ACC get raked over the coals but UGA did not exactly light it up. Some even said Clemson looked bad because they could not score...but UGA looked like the second best team?

A few teams with new QBs struggled. Both UGA and Clemson will look better aganist everyone but each other.

And that includes his first horrible 38 yard punt where it was almost blocked.

UGAs jump to 2 was based on their rep, Clemson's rep, and OU and OSU showing flaws against Tuland and Minnesota.

UGAs defense is stellar, but Clemson's OL is not. They play no one good, except maybe Auburn and UF, so we could expect a Bama-UGA $EC title game, 1 vs 2, and a rematch in the CFP. Although it will be purposely seeded so they can only meet in the NC game. I think Bama's OL goes toe-to-toe with UGAs DL, and Bama wins with a better offense and coaching. Twice.

But seriously, F-Bama, F-UGA. and F-$EC,

Anyone else not named Clemson in the ACC (and probably even Clemson this year) gets beat this bad or worse by Alabama. I'm not happy about the blowout, but anyone not realizing Alabama, Ohio State, and Clemson are on a different level of college football has their head up their ***.

Season starts Saturday. We don't win 9 or 10, win the Coastal, and give Clemson at least a scare it's been nice knowing you Manny.

I get you. It’s not like we expected a win, hoped for, but didn’t expect one. The point is, this team through no fault of the players, were put in a scheme or game plan to fail, mostly due to coaches attitude and approach to this oopponent. They could not even compete. God I miss Schnelly, whatever he smoked in that pipe had to be good.

Mandy ain't going anywhere, no matter what happens this year. Who's gonna fire him ?
How many times does this need to be said .... there is NO great desire or drive in the current UM admin to win football championships !

UM paid out the *** to drag a mope like Mandy away from Temple ! Does that tell you nothing ?

its sad how many people don't understand .... if Howard had said "no" when offered the HC job, the Miami football program would have
been shut down and all that great championship football and the Orange Bowl magic would never have happened.

Nebraska was a huge juggernaut, putting up 800 yds on some opponents, 70, 80 points on some. The U was the ”Little red engine that could.” It’s like that game was yesterday.
