The non-false start call

All points are big in a game like this.
That was 3 right there.

The difference between those plays and this one is that it had nothing to do with execution.
The refs HAVE to make that obvious call.

I have to admit, I put on my tin foil hat on and started yelling my best ‘SEC taking over the world’ conspiracy theories at the tv, on that one.

Oh ok I was thinking they scored the TD right after that. I’m thinking of Jeff’s muffed punt.

So assuming that takes them out of field goal range and they punt we could have settled for a FG to win the game 23-21 instead of going for it later in the game.

We should have been able to punch it in after our fake FG got us 1st and goal. That’s inexcusable.

I’m still confused about what happened to the play calling we saw on the first drive of the game. I don’t remember seeing any of those quick screens the rest of the game. That drive was beautiful and the. we got away from it
 
First game was sloppy as **** for both teams - missed tackles, turnovers, pass interference calls, false starts. Coaches even got in the act with play calls (what was Mullin thinking with late pass?) and failing to help young QB with time out as play clock was running down. Unfortunate, officiating crew was also a train wreck at times.
No way in **** you miss that call. No way. Dude should be reprimanded by Big 12 and sidelined.

Kind of like the unsportmanship on #55 for Florida, that allowed the game to continue
