should recruit outside the norm. BUTCH DAVIS was a surgeon doing so. Just an example. Just curious, do we have a good recruiter on the staff. It's UNREAL how the program went down south like this. We are not even on probation. ****, 1997 looked better

If it was only that easy. Why would a corn fed country boy come down to Miami when we’ve proven that our OL can’t be developed? Iowa, Wisconsin all them have the pick of the liter up in that area. And locker room fit.... you really think them boys would fit in the locker room with the likes of our south Florida boys?

There’s OL talent in Florida, with the right OL coach and a offensive identity that gets the ball out quick and with creativity, we’ll get better on the OL.
 
Yep, Butch has gone NEXT LEVEL outside the norm at FIU with his 2019 class.

He has 11 committs and his class is ranked #115 in the country.

I think we tried our hardest to emulate him, but still couldn’t pull it off.

The guy is a freaking genius. A true recruiting assassin..

Gotta realize, alot of those midwestern o-linemen do not want to play in this heat or deal with the culture differences in Miami. Miami not for everybody.
