starting to feel a lot like 2016 where it seemed the team had to go through a bunch of losses while figuring stuff out, and at the end of the day was failed by its Oline and QB in key moments. But like 2016, off that losing streak, there's a feel of things starting to be figured out especially at QB. The confidence and efficiency Nkosi is playing with right now is encouraging, and I am feeling more and more confident every time he drops back. The emergence of Davis has shown that our line possibly needed some better vision back there (TBD). we will see this weekend with a stouter, but not world beater Pitt D.

Having said that, obviously this years team wasnt a fully baked ready to go juggernaut as there were issues on O masked by a bunch of turnovers last year. Come to think of it, this past saturday had more of that.. But next year Richt has to bring this O out humming while plugging key spots on D and special teams to have the team we expected this year. It can be done, but we will need to see continual improvement these last 2 games,,, The next 15 games with Nkosi Perry will seal Richts fate or legacy at UM

This feels NOTHING like 2016. 2016, we were coming off a dreaded period in our program's history under Golden. New coach, installing a new philosophy/mentality in to this team. We were starting to upswing and it carried over to 2017. What we are seeing now is a complete reversal. Our only "quality" wins since November of last year have been against teams with losing records (FSU, UNC, and now VT). The other 3 victories have come against two G5 schools, and one school being dropped down to DII. NOTHING about this season feels remotely close to 2016. It feels more 2015 than 2016 if I'm going to be very honest from both the on-field lack of production and the lack of recruiting and the suspensions off the field.

This is what it is, we took a step back this season. We can rationalize it all we want, but we lost to anyone with a pulse and looked terrible doing so. Every year in CFB you will lose some players, that's part of the game, but you have to prepare and evolve anyway. We failed in both those regards.

I'm gonna give Richt until 2028...

If he doesn't get this thing turned around within the next decade I'm gonna start getting real impatient.

A rebuild year for MR? Have you seen what happen to our recruiting class and the outlook? No QB, no OL, basically no DT and no DB?

Good luck in giving him one more year!!

It's the same thing every coach. A couple wins against ****** teams to give the dumb fans hope going into 19.

We didn't just "take a step back" we slipped and rolled backwards down the hill

I don’t see Richt making any changes though ..... dude is a stubborn man “I’ve been coaching 35 years” hes like those old guys who still sent postcards instead of emails or texts because “god dammit those postcards always get there eventually” ..... every year he’s coaching and calling plays he’s gonna get left further behind by other coaches who aren’t arrogant and stubborn enough to think they know everything and cant learn new things
