Howard says "a lot of guys get" the current defensive scheme but he acknowledged that "there's a lot" players need to learn.

"He (Richt) is probably going to simplify it"

I can't help but to laugh he all but said I ******* hate this defense, I just hate not playing even more.

We all know NoD is crap. But let's be honest, Tracy has been a below average player for us since he's been here.
 
Said it for the last three years. The players know and their body language shows it

True about dorito but Howard isn't below average. He just hasn't lived up to the hype the recruiting services created
 
What does he mean Richt will simplify it?

If anything from Dorito's D is kept, the banners against Richt will promptly be flying.

There better be a total change of scheme and DC!
 
I hate when you guys say tracy is average... Tracy was the most aggressive high school corner i had seen and feared nothing.

Man gtfoh, Denzle Perryman was the only player looked good in that defense.....making tackles 15 yards after first down. U don't run things kid are foreign to. That defense is the worst thing ever happened here. And on top of that, they vindictively benched players who question the crap. So glad that fat fu©k will be canned soon.
 
Tracy consistently got taken advantage of when the ball was in the air. Corn plays bigger than him and he's smaller. I agree the coaching is terrible but Tracy played in games like a below average corner. It doesn't mean I don't think he will/can improve if he makes a roster. I'm just analyzing what I saw him do in a Miami jersey.
 
Disappointing career but an important commitment as he stood fast at the worst part of the negativity surrounding UM. While Duke never wavered and seemingly had less pressure because of that, Tracy was hearing all sorts of things trying to sway him. But he chose UM in dramatic fashion.

He never complained either.
 
Tracy is not below average, some of ya'll think every person walking into this program is as good as they are in the NFL.. Tracy was overrated?? Yes.. But He's a solid player, he will play in the NFL and have a solid career..
 
I don't know what y'all were watching but out of all the cornerbacks he was the most consistent one this year. He had the LEAST amount of catches and yards given up out of any of the top 3 corners. Some games they didn't even throw at him. He just didn't have any ints this year

Sure, the defense is crap, but do you not get how this works? Coaches tell players what to do. If they don't do it they don't play. It's like the military, doesn't matter if the order is good or not, you follow it. It's up to the head coach or athletic director to make coaching changes when needed, but as long as that guy's the coach you better be doing what he tells you.

I would say this; Tracy hasn't been the same since he played off his man, jumped a route on had a pick 6 on the very first play of the game. The team were celebrating with him and Coach No D was berating him for "free lancing." I think his confidence went down hill since then and on the next level, I truly feel he will become a very good corner.
