The Canes should be #1 or 2

There will be no reason to have us any lower than 3. ****, Georgia is getting #1 votes, and their best win is against ND. When we beat them far worse than Georgia, they won't have any legitimacy if they have us well behind Georgia, and behind any one loss team.

It simply doesn't matter, though. We win out and we're in, period.

If we beat ND we should be in top 4. There would be 4 undefeated major teams for power 5 conference but it is probably best for us to be #5 behind Clemson and WI. Our DNA has not changed and disrespect has always been our ally while praise is our foe. Bama and UGA play each other, we play Clemson. The winners will be in and the scramble will be for the last two posts. We will play our way into the playoffs regardless.

I honestly want every team ahead of us to lose multiple games. Wisconsin, Georgia, Alabama, OU, everyone. I want to see carnage.

Exactly. We have some scary Cane fans around here. The facts are in our favor. Consecutive weeks beating cfp's #3 & #13 teams speaks volumes. No one will have this resume.

Doesn't Georgia play Auburn? If so, and they win, I'd say they'd stay at #1 .

If we beat ND I think we'll jump the winner of the Oklahoma - TCU game (and ND, of course). We should also jump Clemson, but I am not sure the CFP Committee will give us the advantage there.

So, if we win, I think we'll be #4 (assuming Georgia, Alabama, and Clemson also win) and will control our own destiny.

Throw in the fact we beat Syracuse, who beat Clemson. There's no way we're worse than #3 . Like you said, we'll have the resume that no one else will have.

Oh, and we'll jump Wisconsin this weekend as well. All one loss teams will be below us, and Wisconsin might be one this weekend.

I think this is the week they say, "Well, Miami just beat VT, ND, and they DID beat the team that beat Clemson." Clemson doesn't matter, because we'll need to beat them regardless. ****, I don't care if we're #5 after this weekend, because we will get in when we beat Clemson. I just think they know they will look stupid if they don't put Miami in the top 4, and will make the corrections needed to avoid looking like fools.

I would be fine with whatever rank they give us. After the ACC championship game, AND we are undefeated, I would definitely agree. Top 2 team. Possibly #1 .

I'm guessing by the neg, and this comment that people are reading my comment as me throwing shade. That ain't it.

I have full confidence that the boys are going to go out there and curb stomp those racist ****wads. Might be a battle, but they're gonna leave with a souvenir "L". It just happens that the teams we played so far managed to start sucking *** after playing us (i.e., Duke, FSU, GT), so our wins don't look "as strong" as the UGA/BAMA.

Yeah, like last night. Just barely squeezed it out in last minute vs Miss State. Bama is beatable. Our speed on defense could give them trouble.

I couldn't believe my ears and eyes when he was saying that. No doubt Oklahoma is very good, but with one loss, any rational person puts them behind undefeated Alabama and Miami.

Miami would obliterate a no defense team like Oklahoma. Miami could match points offensively (any team with a half decent offense could score on that D) and Mayfield would get sacked 5-6 times. They'd score a few points, but Miami would get lots of stops. Final score would be 55-24, Miami.
