After we beat ND. The CFP committee is supposed to look solely at the current season's "Body of Work." After beating #3 Notre Dame, the Cane's "Body of Work" will be beyond reproach: 1. Undefeated and 2. consecutive wins over teams ranked #3 and #13 in the CFP Poll.

Again, I said "SHOULD BE" I'm sure the CFP BS will continue.

Thoughts?

BamaDefenders, relax. Alabama will not have our "body of work" despite how you feel about them.

I'm not getting caught up in the rankings, because the media is already suggesting a loss in the ACC' ship game and we're out of the playoffs, no matter how close the game is. Bottom line is we have to win.
 
We need UGA/BAMA to lose for that to happen. We don't have the blowout wins, and we've only beaten 2 teams that are currently above .500. Just because we beat VT/ND won't do it. We need help from Auburn/Miss State.
 
The way they have been hyping Notre Dame up a win should put us in the top 2....SHOULD...But we all know we'll be kept behind UGA and Bama...
 
We'll be top 4 if we beat Notre Dame, and likely be at #3 over Clemson (will be #4 ). Just win and things will take care of itself.

We just beat VT by 3 TDs. The O is peaking. We're gonna roll ND.

If we beat ND there's no justifiable reason to have a 1-loss team above us. All this nonsense is because of a few close wins.

I'm guessing by the neg, and this comment that people are reading my comment as me throwing shade. That ain't it.

I have full confidence that the boys are going to go out there and curb stomp those racist ****wads. Might be a battle, but they're gonna leave with a souvenir "L". It just happens that the teams we played so far managed to start sucking *** after playing us (i.e., Duke, FSU, GT), so our wins don't look "as strong" as the UGA/BAMA.
 
Auburn gonna beat uga. Nd was still getting things together when they played uga. If you watched that game it ws horrible on both sides. Beating nd now is way better than when uga beat them.

While I agree that this is how things SHOULD be, there is no guarantee that the 13 voters on the CFP Committee will do so. I believe we should already be #3 , but we are not.

As far as "beyond reproach", who knows? What if GaTech beats VaTech (we only beat GaTech by 1 point)? Our win over VaTech might be more reproachable.

I desperately want things to go our way and for us to be ranked in the Top 4. But the writers, coaches, and CFP Committee have underrated us all season, and I'm not going to make some prediction that we will be ranked higher simply because I want it to be true.

Does anyone else not care at all about rankings? I don't care if we're #1 or #25 , I just wanna win. I hope they keep us at #7 after winning, keep that chip on our shoulders
 
My only issue is the ranking with clemson. They lost to syracuse and that isnt being held against them
 
If we win we should be #3 . If Bama and UGA win they will both have ranked wins on the road so we wont jump that far
