The Arch hype train is derailing already

I actually think Sark's offense is hampering him a lot. Once Arch was able to use his legs and be more mobile and freestyle, Texas looked way better offensively.

I'm not saying Arch isn't massively overrated, but Sark's offense has been exposed. If Shannon Dawson were Arch's OC, he'd look more comfortable.

So you’re solution is to take a QB who is better when he is more mobile and put him in Dawson’s offense that doesn’t scheme for a mobile QB?

Arch gets the LONGEST rope in history, last night game was him sitting in pocket with a ton of time and a WR breaking open right across the middle multiple times and he never pulled the trigger to take a lesser play

He had multiple plays like this but since he manning he can do no wrong.. and this will probably be wiped off the internet. Last year I gave him pass but there is no excuse for this ****..

This is a good example of Arch being a terrible QB but the lazy WR route running and play calling is equally just as terrible.

3 WRs running lazy routes across the middle bunched up near each other. The inside WR on the left side is “open” but he’s running like he either doesn’t want the ball or doesn’t expect it.. sign of no trust in the QB and offense in general.

The only other WR that was wide open is the one on the outside on the right.. running an in and out route towards the side line .. Manning completely froze.

I think He’d be a better “fit” in Colin Klein’s offense with reduced progressions and a built-in QB run game that doesn’t try to force him into being a pocket passer. But even in that system he’d be up and down.

His inaccuracy, timing on reads and pocket presence would make him a really bad fit in Dawson’s system imo and at a minimum he’d be a pick machine in it.

Seems like the hype train didn't derail quite yet, no matter how many times people type "Arch Sucks" on a message board, in fact it, probably picked up speed after last night's second half performance.

In the first half it seemed like they were forcing him to be a pocket passer and he looked lost, like he was thinking more about his coaching and not just reacting. He made bad reads and throws. The plays being called weren't using his strengths. The second half play calling was much better. It appears, Arch needs qb draws, rolls out, etc to get involved and feel comfortable. He threw some darts in the 4th and finally played like everyone expected.

He handled the adversity of the first half well, he didn't get down, blame his teammates, or start playing hero ball. He showed real professional leadership and with the game on the line, he made the plays that a pro qb has to make.

I still think he's a first round pick. To me it seemed like his mechanics were good in last nights game, but it's frustrating he's not further along with his decision making in the pocket.

So, if I'm the Dolphins GM am I still taking him number 1? No. Mensah's my guy. From Toledo to Duke to the U. He is like Cam, but better. However, if the Dolphins botch another tank season, Arch would be a good number 2, but he will take time to develop.

to my uneducated eyes he looks worse with time in the pocket. he looks at this best when things flow and he just out athletes every one.

I noticed the lazy WR play too and said "I like our Wingo more than theirs."
