The age of the slow pocket passer qb is over.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A QB WHO CAN RUN YOU'RE IN TROUBLE. Unless you have Alabama type recruiting where the majority of the oline you recruit are blue chips it's scramble for extra yards and more time or die.

If kaaya leaves which he won't because he's selfish. Then by PINKNEY and SHAQ junior year we'll have probably the best linebacker core in college playing with a person with no real game experience. Which means those 2 killers will ball out and leave 3rd year and never have had a chance to have a real chance to win.

You can win without a dual threat QB. But not with a QB who runs a 5.4 40, behind a terrible OL, with a mediocre boring playbook.

Michigan's QB is just as immobile as Brad except his OL keeps him upright, gives him time to throw, his WRs catch the ball, and his coach calls a good game.

It can be done

Kaaya can do it, it really doesn't take that much to step up in the pocket or roll out sometimes.
Instead he just stands around and waits to get hit.. or runs right into the pressure..
Almost like he just wants the play over. Now if that's from him being scared of turning it over or no WR or anyone turning around to help out IDK.
But when he gets sacked within 2 seconds of the snap that's the Oline or somebody not recognizing a blitz Him/Richt or a RB not picking it up

The object of football is to score points and now allow points. If you think a duel threat QB helps you score points then that is what you should recruit.

Does anyone have a list of most points score by a QB the last 5 years?

Thinking the same thing today watching Lamar Jackson (recruited by Lamar Thomas) while working out. It's time to start running what is most prevalent in the HS' in the Miami recruiting area, not the reverse, i.e. trying to recruit the one guy who "fits" Miami's system or go out to Cali or New Jersey (looking at you Don Bosco Prep) to find some QB Guru product who has the "Thousand Yard Stare" when facing quality D1 opponents...The []_[] are missing out on a LOT of talent by being stubborn.

I can pull it pretty easily from the NCAA site. Are you talking about actually scoring (like on the ground), or points including passing touchdowns?

Kaaya is selfish now.... God the morons on this site.

I don't believe he is selfish, I do think he gets rattled and panics as soon as the pocket begins to collapse.
But a lot of the times he gets sacked he has no time and lacks the ability to improvise

Points count the same whether running or passing so both should be relevant. It would also be good to pull top 5 scoring offenses and exaiming their QB's. I am willing to bet none run the Pro-Set.

We should run the offense that allows us to score the most points. I could careless if that leads to any NFL players.

Any competent OC would build an offense that fits the talent he has. We aren't seeing that through 7 games.
