So do you think the administration will start looking for a new coach now during the season, quietly of course? You know so they have someone lined up to replace Golden with?

You're kidding right? This administration isn't even REACTIVE...do you really think they'll decide to be PROACTIVE NOW?

Frank earned his doctorate degree from the Univ of Michigan and said many times he that he went to many many football games at the big house ( that's Mich stadium). He knows football, don't sleep on Frank he is a delegator, and has publicly put Blake on notice the coaching descisions at Miami are up to Blake and Frank wants winning programs. Because winning programs help to attract more students.

Blake is feeling the pressure. Not to mention I am sure Addidas is not going sit by and see their ROI from Miami fade away.

Frenk has been out to practice numerous times & is evaluating everything at UM. From the article in the Herald last week he is VERY committed to raising the profile of UM to much greater levels. One of the ways you do this is with a top ranked football team. I believe he will get it done & will recommend changes at the end of the season. Team is poorly coached & making the same mistakes over & over again.
 
Step 1: You MUST fire Blake and Al. That is a no brainer.

Step 2: You hire a competent and passionate AD. You give them the proper funds to run the department and allow them space.

Step 3: Allow that AD to hire the coach.

The admin should NOT be involved. We need to stop this micromanaging bullchit. These fools are not qualified to be involved in the football program. They need to hire a competent and passionate AD and properly fund football. Then get the *** out. Shalala leaving was step 1.

Unless you sat around with Frenk, and a couple of beers, your're only guessing as to his futbol knowledge. He's made no public statements showing any grasp of the situation.

Blake, the puppet, only feels the pull of the strings. Ah-di-dah's business decisions are about as good as their designs.
